Qikun Xue

Prof. Qikun Xue was elected as an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. He has received many awards, including HLHL Achievement Prize (2007) and TWAS Prize in Physics(2010). Now, he holds the positions of the directors of School of Science and the State Key Laboratory of Low-Dimensional Quantum Physics, the dean of the Department of Physics in Tsinghua University.

Prof. Xue and his team are currently engaged in the research on superconductivity in low-dimensional structures. He has published more than 300 papers including 3 in Science and 5 in Nature series journals with more than 5000 citations.
